- East Aceh-globalinvestigasinews.com-In minimizing traffic accidents in its area, the East Aceh Police Chief AKBP Eko Widiantoro, SIK, MH accompanied by Head of Traffic Force AKP Andrew Agrifina Prima Putra, SIK held a cross-sectoral coordination meeting which took place at the Wira Satya Hall, Thursday , (21/01/2021).
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Education and Culture Office Saiful Bahri, S.Pd, M.Pd, Secretary of Satpol PP Aminullah East Aceh Regency, representatives from the East Aceh District Health Office, East Aceh District Raharja Service Representatives, East Aceh District Transportation Service Representatives and Chairman of the Organda.
Starting his speech, the Police Chief said that the number of traffic jams in 2020 had increased compared to the previous year.
“In 2019 there were 388 incidents, while in 2020 there were 445 incidents, therefore, we deliberately invite colleagues to equalize perceptions and hope to support the East Aceh Police Traffic Police program which aims to realize East Aceh Zero Traffic Accident in 2021.” The police chief firmly stated.
Furthermore, the Head of Police said that for this the Police officers tried to provide education and advice to tap public awareness about traffic awareness and ethics, we must do this and this is the most important part that we should not ignore. The Head of the East Aceh Police, AKBP Eko Widiantoro, S.I.K, M.H, concluded.
Meanwhile, Kasat Then AKP Andrew Prima Putra in his presentation determined the direction of the 2021 Aceh Zero Traffic Accident in East Aceh Regency and heard suggestions from the relevant agencies present.
