To Luhut, Prince MBZ said “what your president needs we are ready to support”.
Why does Pak Jokowi receive such treatment from world leaders?
Luhut said it was nature at work. In my opinion, maybe because Pak Jokowi is sincere in leading the country, is not lazy, and is not greedy, he also receives sincerity.
It is hard to imagine the leaders of big countries confiding in the president of the Republic of Indonesia. In the past, RI was bullied by big countries, underestimated by Malaysia. Now, Indonesia is more successful in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic than Malaysia. PM Mahatir praised Jokowi for his development.
To beat Malaysia, Jokowi is not angry. Jokowi built a border post with Malaysia which is much better than the post in the Malaysian region, building smooth roads to the border.
The Mandalika Circuit was built much more luxurious than the Sepang Circuit, with beautiful views of the mountains and beaches. The Sepang Circuit just passes through oil palm plantations. Malaysia is already afraid that the circuit will not sell if Mandalika is operational.

This November there will be a World Superbike event in Mandalika. In 2022, MotoGP will be held at the Mandalika circuit. Since now it has been initiated with an advance to the MotoGP Committee, only Rp. 143 billion with Pertamina as the main sponsor. (Compared to Formula E, which had to pay more than Rp 560 billion, there was no main sponsor, no circuit, no receipt).
From there nature sends a signal to world leaders:
Jokowi is sincere in managing natural wealth for the benefit of his nation, is not corrupt, does not prepare a retirement home for himself, does not include his children in the APBN project, does not include his children as party administrators (after all, he does not have a party).
Jokowi still wears the same suit as when he was not yet the mayor of Solo. World leaders must know each other who is honest, polite, modest, who is a thief, who is greedy.
