GLOBAL INVESTIGASI NEWS, BALI, President Joko Widodo welcomed the leaders of the G20 countries and leaders of international organizations attending the G20 Summit at the Apurva Kempinski Bali Hotel, Badung Regency, on Tuesday, 15 November 2022. The arrival of these leaders marked the start of the top events of the G20 Summit in Bali.

In the lobby of the hotel hall, the President greeted and shook hands with the leaders of delegations and international organizations one by one. A total of 38 delegation leaders and international organizations attended and were welcomed by President Jokowi.

After taking one-by-one photos with President Jokowi, the leaders will head to the Ballroom Temple to take part in the first session of the G20 Summit which will discuss the global economy, food security and energy.

In his introductory remarks at the first session of the G20 Summit, President Jokowi welcomed all delegates. The President said that Indonesia was honored to be able to host the G20 Summit.

“Welcome to Bali, welcome to Indonesia. It is an honor for Indonesia to be the host of the G20 Summit. I really understand, extraordinary efforts are needed so that we can sit together in this room,” said the President.

After that, President Jokowi along with delegation leaders and international organizations will head to the beach area. The president and leaders will then have lunch together at the Bamboo House, Ocean Front Lawn, Apurva Kempinski.

Furthermore, President Jokowi and the leaders will return to the Temple Ballroom to carry out the second session of the G20 Summit which will discuss health. President Jokowi is also scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.

In the evening, President Jokowi will host a dinner for G20 leaders and international organizations at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. The leaders will also take pictures together and be treated to various attractions and cultural performances.
