The exhibition, which presents seven Bogor artists, including Achmad Syahri, Dara Sinta, Denok Retno Indah, Marwan, Putra Gara, Tomy Faisal Alim, and Yaqub Elka, displays a variety of contemporary to futuristic paintings.

The chairman of DKKB, Putra Gara said, the exhibition of Kabogoh Bogor Herang Painting is expected to be a creative space for Bogor artists to continue working and not just a trial space.

We hope that this activity is not just a trial and error event for art performances, but also a spirit of work for Bogor artists,” he said.

The head of the Cultural Center, Syahnagra, said that he would continue to encourage artists in Bogor to display their works at the Cultural Center. His party claimed to be happy with the performance of Kabogoh Bogor Herang.

“Even though it was held in a state of the Covid-19 pandemic, our spirit should never drop. The pandemic must be a passion for artists to grow and exchange ideas through painting exhibitions,” he said.

Meanwhile, senior painter Mas Padhik invites all artists to continue working. He said that each artist’s painting will have its own path, without having to stop painting.

“So our challenge right now is to think too much about what we want to paint. While our brainless friends continue to paint without thinking about the theory, this is what keeps us from falling behind,” he said

Therefore, he invites painters to stay on track, not to have dual professions that will make painters stagnant and left behind because they have two responsibilities.

At the opening of the exhibition, an ethnic musician, Ki Ahok – from the DKKB Cultural Committee also appeared. In addition, a number of writers such as Nanang R. Supriyatin, Eddy Pramduane and writer Pilo Poly who came as invitations were also seen. (Sopri)
