The proof is that BKM Merangin, led by Bundo Warnida, attended the World Bundo Kanduang Congress which was held at Pagarauang Palace, Batu Sangkar Regency, West Sumatra Province. The departure of BKM Merangin was immediately released by the Regent of Merangin H Mashuri at his official residence Friday, December 2, 2022.
Warnida, Head of the Kanduang Merangin Bundo Organization (BKM) said that 15 participants took part in the Merangin BKM Congress. Participants departed for Pagaruyung, Tanah Datar Regency, who were also accompanied by the management of the Bundo Kanduang Jambi Province.
“For three days the participants took part in the activity, and this is the first time BKM Merangin has attended the World Bundo Kanduang Congress in Pagaruyung,” he said.
In this world congress, it is hoped that the Bundo Kanduang Merangin board will participate in the activities as much as possible so that they can add insight and knowledge in organization. Because according to Warnida, the Bundo Kanduang organization is very large and has been around for a long time, reaching overseas.
“It has been decades since this organization was founded. Not only at the national level but also at the international level. In the previous Congress, participants took part in a parade, after that the Congress, then the Managua Competition, Bazaar, UKM exhibition and study tour,” he said.
“Through this congress, we can meet face to face with relatives to establish friendly relations with fellow Bundo Kanduang officials,” he concluded. (yes)
