Mataram NTB – West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Chief Inspector General of Police Drs. Djoko Poerwanto led the Call of Troops “Operation Lilin Rinjani 2022” in the framework of Security for Christmas 2022 and New Year 2023 at Bhara Daksa Field, West Nusa Tenggara Police, (22/12/2022). The rally, which was directly led by the NTB Regional Police Chief, was attended by all the joint forces involved, such as representatives from the TNI, Polri, government, PJU Polda NTB, and community groups. The call began with checking the readiness of each team involved in the security forces. After the ceremony, when interviewed by media colleagues, the NTB Regional Police Chief explained that the operation which took place for 11 days (23 December 2022 to 3 January 2023) involved 1455 joint personnel from the Indonesian National Police, the Government andPublic. “These posts are prepared at several crowded points such as the entrances to the island of Lombok, tourist attractions and other crowded locations to facilitate services,” he explained. “Because this operation aims to provide public service and security, we should carry it out in earnest to create community comfort,” Djoko added. In this operation there were 32 service posts and security posts which were all prepared for the community.
