LEBAK-BANTEN, Globalinvestigationnews.com – The Lebak Regency Government (Pemkab) won the 3rd best rank in Regional Financial and Asset Management at the Banten Provincial Level in Quarter IV of the 2022 Fiscal Year. The award was given during the Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Coordination Meeting activities / Cities throughout Banten Province at the Banten Governor’s Hall, Thursday (29/12/2022).

The award was handed over directly by Acting. The Governor of Banten, Al Muktabar to the Regent of Lebak Hj. Iti Octavia Jayabaya.

This activity is routine, held by BPKAD Banten Province every quarter in the framework of the function of coaching the Regency/City Government in the field of regional financial and asset management.

The Regent of Lebak Hj.Iti Oktavia Jayabaya, SE, MM, expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Government of Banten, which continues to provide guidance to Regencies/Cities in Banten Province, who consistently carry out coordination meetings and give awards to Regencies/Cities. According to him, this can motivate the region to continue to realize good governance and clean government.

“Alhamdulillah, Lebak Regency won the third best ranking in the final quarter, for regional financial and asset management. This achievement. Hopefully it will be an encouragement for all of us to manage regional finances and assets in an orderly, accountable and transparent manner,” said Iti.

Meanwhile, Pj. The Governor of Banten when opening the activity explained that in carrying out the wheels of government it is necessary to provide guidance and supervision of the regional revenue and expenditure budget. According to him, the guidance and supervision is important considering that finance is a basic instrument in government.

“Finance is an important government instrument. For this reason, the stages of planning, budgeting, administration, reporting, and accountability of the regional expenditure budget itself, need guidance and supervision,” explained Al Muktabar.

The activity, which was also attended by the Director General of Regional Financial Development, is expected to increase understanding of regional financial and asset management, and also encourage increased performance in regional financial and asset management in Banten Province.
