SURABAYA,- East Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Toni Harmanto, Deputy Head of the East Java Regional Police Brigadier General Akhmad Yusep Gunawan, accompanied by the Main Officer (PJU) of the East Java Regional Police, Monday (17/4/2023) afternoon, after participating in the Call for the 2023 Ketupat Semeru Ops Troop at Makodam V Brawijaya, immediately carried out checking of Pospam and Posyan.
Inspector General of Police, Toni Harmanto, explained that services provided to the public or travelers must be safe and effective.
“Earlier, seeing the readiness at the airport and seaport, now at the terminal it is ensuring more public service spaces that ensure travelers feel safe and impressed,” said Inspector General of Police Toni Harmanto.
For the readiness of the existing Pam and Posyan posts, the East Java Regional Police Chief requested that the joint officers optimize their functions.
“The community must be served well, Kamtibmas must remain a concern,” said the East Java Regional Police Chief.
The East Java Police Chief said, two days ago there were already tens of thousands of travelers in East Java.
Meanwhile, for security for empty houses left by travelers, later officers will carry out patrols to provide a sense of security and comfort when leaving for Eid homecoming.
“The East Java Regional Police have prepared 19,593 personnel to secure the homecoming of Eid,” concluded Inspector General Toni. (*)
