The Covid pandemic period is a difficult time for all people, including the world of education. Learning that must be carried out online creates a heavy burden for both teachers and students. The burden of achieving competence, the burden of costs, even the psychological burden. However, for the world of education, various forms of burden will be a challenge to remain creative, productive, and even achieve.
During this pandemic, SMAN 1 Sutojayan, Blitar Regency was able to show its greatness by achieving several achievements. These achievements were achieved with struggle. Struggle due to time constraints, limitations to be able to meet face to face, also limited movement. Here are some of the achievements of SMAN 1 Sutojayan, Blitar Regency in 2021.
1st Place as the Best Newcomer School for the Best Double Track High School Program at the East Java Provincial Level for the 2021 Academic Year. During this pandemic period, to be precise in March 2021, SMAN 1 Sutojayan, Blitar Regency, got the opportunity for skills training in the Double Track package. In its implementation, Double Track at SMAN 1 Sutojayan received two programs, namely Food Management and Graphic Design. In this program, students are equipped with the skills to make cookies and bakerays. Various preparations ranging from nastar, snow white, chocolate banana cake, brownies dd. Meanwhile, the graphic design program has succeeded in giving children the skills to make banners, design t-shirts, merchandise, etc. In the course of the training, ITS held the 2021 Millenial Entrepreneur Award event and SMAN 1 Sutojayan Blitar Regency managed to win the best newcomer school for the Double Track High School program at the East Java Province.
3rd place KUS Video Story in the 2021 Millennial Entrepreneur Award event.
KUS (Student Business Group) consisting of Riyadush Sholikhatun Ni’mah, Desi Pepianti, Fara Septiana, Putri Fionika, and Vera Mega. This team managed to make a product story with its flagship cake, Nastar Cheese. Apart from cheese nastar, this KUS is also capable of making other pastries and even making various bakeray cakes.
1st Winner of Women’s Basketball in the TARUNA GEMILANG CHAMPIONS event. This event will be held on 21 – 23 November 2021 at the King Kaniogo basketball court.
Second place in Men’s basketball in the TARUNA GEMILANG CHAMPIONS event. This event will be held on 21 – 23 November 2021 at the King Kaniogo basketball court.
Second Place in Writing Short Stories in the 2021 Blitar Raya High School/MAN Language Festival Festival organized by the Blitar Branch of the Circle Pena Forum (FLP).

Obtained A accreditation for the Mahardika Library of SMAN 1 Sutojayan, Blitar Regency.
With its vision “To become the center and source of information to create a quality generation based on IMTAQ, science and technology, and national culture”, SMAN 1 Sutojayan, Blitar Regency made an achievement by obtaining an A accreditation.
Obtained an extension of Accreditation A for SMAN 1 Sutojayan, Blitar Regency.
In 2016 SMAN 1 Sutojayan, Blitar Regency succeeded in obtaining a school accreditation certificate with an A predicate. Over the past five years, the school has made many improvements in academic and non-academic achievements. Many championships won. There is a lot of physical development. School governance is getting better so that on December 8, 2021, the National Accreditation Board issued an A accreditation extension certificate for SMAN 1 Sutojayan Blitar Regency by obtaining an increase in grades.
